Delay in Task Switching and Frustrating Data Loss

Hello Epiforge community,

I’ve been using Grindstone 4 with my team and have recently encountered an issue that I hope someone can shed light on. When I attempt to switch tasks by entering a new work item into the stopwatch and pressing enter, Grindstone either doesn’t switch immediately or takes several minutes to do so. It feels as if the software is freezing up. If I exit Grindstone during this freeze, I’ve noticed that I lose several hours of time slices, and they vanish without a trace.

Given that my team and I have logged close to 10,000 time slices, I’m wondering if the volume of data in my account might be causing this lag. Has anyone else experienced this? Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

I’m using V4.0, Build 7380.29440 with cloud sync, for what it’s worth.

FYI, I tried completely canceling my sync subscription (after backing up the data locally) and starting a new one and it still has the same problem. So it wasn’t a matter of too many time slices in our data. There is something wrong with the synchronization.
