Some of you that have been with us long enough to have participated in the discussions concerning differences between Grindstone 4 and previous versions may recall what I once said about the Rates feature, to wit: that it would be back, but not expressly implemented by us. I had envisioned a system with such robust customization capability that the user herself could will her own billing features into existence.
Last week, I finally got to see that vision made real from top to bottom in the live UI of the latest Grindstone Next alpha build.
The best way I can describe what I felt upon seeing this (and for several hours afterward) is best expressed by this song.
